To guarantee you a cabin we request a deposit of 50% of the total amount. The total amount has to be paid 7 days before your arrival to the island.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, money transfer, cash or bank deposit.

All our cabins are built with local materials by the Kuna Indians of Playon Chico village, in an octagonal shape simbolyzing passages of Kuna tradition.  Cabins have double and single beds with mosquito nets, wooden floor, night tables, wardrobe and terrace overlooking the sea. All cabins have 24 hours electricity powered by solar panels.

**Uninhabited islands with beaches,  Kuna Community, mangroves, river, waterfall, hiking in the tropical forest, traditional cemetery.  Tours are subject to climate conditions.

 

We rent snorkeling gear in the island, but you can also bring yours.  We sell beers, wine, rum, soft drinks, bottled water and sun block in the island.  No credit cards or traveler checks are accepted in the island.

We recommend bringing: small amount of cash, hiking  boots, sun block, beach towel, binoculars and snacks. 

 


 Flight information:

There are two airlines that fly from Panama City to Playon Chico: Aeroperlas (www.aeroperlas.com) and Air Panama  (www.flyairpanama.com). The flights normally departs at 6:00 a.m. from Panama City to Playon Chico and at 7:00 a.m. from Playon Chico to Panama City.  Remember to bring your passport at Marcos A. Gelabert Airport (Albrook).
The Yandup staff will pick you up and transfer you by boat to the island.
 

RESERVATIONS

  • We only guarantee reservations with a deposit of 50% of the total amount.

  • The total payment has to be made at least 7 days before your arrival to the island.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to your arrival will be charged 100% of the total.

  • Cancellations made 8 - 15 days prior  to your arrival will be charged a 50% of the total.

  • Cancellations made 16 - 30 days prior to your arrival will be charged a 25% of the total

  • Cancellations made with more than 30 days prior to your arrival will be charged a 15% of the total.

  • Yandup Island Lodge does not take responsibility on flights cancellations or delays.
